The education program consisted of 11 educational sessions totaling 2.0 CEUs. Topics included:
The winner of the Artie’s Apple Award is Marv Millet from Oakland, California. Last year’s winner, Dick Loyd, presented the pin to Marv at the banquet Wednesday night.
The partners participated in a Hula instruction during breakfast on Monday, and on Wednesday each made a Lei to wear at the banquet Wednesday night. Monday night, the attendees and partners all went on a dinner cruise departing from Waikiki. Outgoing Section President Glenn Yokomichi and the Hawaii Chapter did an excellent job organizing the event and extending their usual gracious hospitality. Next year’s meeting will be held October 17-21, 2010 at the Squaw Peak Hilton in Phoenix, Arizona.
